Observing early childhood educators among children in nurseries

In a nursery group, the early childhood educator faces a number of challenges during the day, as chindren under the age of three are partially incapable of self-care, lack good communication skills, or unable to resolve their conflicts alone. Through video observations, we have the opportunity to research the interactions in a group situation and describe good practices of early childhood education and care.

Training of Early Childhood Educators and their career paths

The topic of this research concerns the testing and developing of ways to prepare early childhood educators for their upcoming professional challenges. This includes researching the differences between experienced and novice early childhood educators, as well as researching effective training methods both in university classes and during nursery practice, as well as searching for more comprehensive training development solutions. The research also deals with the career development of early childhood educators, so that the results can be used for training.
