An Erasmus program is truly successful when the collaboration does not end with the conclusion of the program, but leads to further meetings, research, and cooperation.

This past summer, the Department of Digital Pedagogy at ELTE TÓK organized the BIP program titled “Digital Beginnings—Digital Collaboration in the Carpathian Basin,” in which Edina-Timea Erdei (Opriș) participated while still a doctoral student.

Now we’ve met again: Edina successfully defended her PhD dissertation this weekend. Dr. András Lénárd, head of the Department of Digital Pedagogy at ELTE TÓK and associate professor, served as the external examiner at the defense.

And the story doesn’t end there. During the meeting, we also discussed with our colleagues the possibility of establishing a joint research group and collaborating on two upcoming conferences.

This is precisely why these international programs are so important: a meeting can lead to a connection, a connection to collaboration, and collaboration to new joint professional projects.

This is how an Erasmus partnership continues to grow.
