Main research areas
My research focuses on the therapeutic effects of music and musical instruments. Music in this form is a tool and not a goal, as in music pedagogy or the average enjoyment of art. Although developmental, therapeutic aspects can be found in both of these. For example, in the approach, in the methodological tool system, and in the performing arts attitude. Music therapy works with methods of improvisational and imaginative music listening. It exerts a positive neurophysiological effect through its experience-inducing and revising effects. With its methods, it offers a broader sound complex for those involved in therapy, thereby creating a new relationship with music. Neurological investigation of musical transfer. Psychology of musical experience.
