Professor Jörg Meier visited the ELTE TÓK
From 18 September to 22 September 2023, Professor Jörg Meier visited the Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education of ELTE (ELTE TÓK) as a part of the Erasmus+ Programme.
A guest lecturer at the Foreign Languages and Literature Department of ELTE TÓK, for both Hungarian and foreign students Jörg Meier presented the topics of multilingualism, German as a Second/Foreign Language methodology, dialects and the role of media in education. Professor Meier also discussed various issues with Dean Éva Márkus, including mutual publications and projects, while also considering the joint organisation of a conference on the subject of multilingualism.
Professor Jörg Meier teaches at the German Studies Department of Košice (Kassa) University (UPJŠ) and also instructs at the Pedagogical University in Innsbruck (Tirol, Austria).
Jörg Meier is Editor-in-Chief of various academic publications, such as the Europäische Beiträge zur Angewandten Germanistik and Beiträge zur Fachdidaktik.
