COURSE RECOGNITION

Credit recognition – course equivalence

According to the Erasmus+ regulations, a minimum of 20 credits must be taken (based on the number of credits (ECTS) for the courses abroad) and completed at the host institution. However, it is recommended to take a higher number of credits (approx. 30 ECTS) (in some cases this is mandatory).

The credits earned are fully recognized by the university through an exceptional study program.

In the case of studying abroad, all credits earned by the student will be fully credited by the faculty towards their studies in Hungary. To this end, the student must submit the appropriate exceptional study schedule requests.

Students are required to have the credits earned abroad recognized as compulsory, compulsory elective, or elective credits.

In order for students to submit the above-mentioned application, they must find courses that they can take at their host university and that are accepted by TÓK. By clicking on the link below, you can find the faculty’s equivalence table, which contains these courses. (Please note that the list is constantly changing/being updated! The most up-to-date list is always the one found on the host university's website or in the welcome email from the coordinator abroad).
